Ajna center -- The energy center (chakra) between the
eyebrows. Directing center of the personality. Its correspondence on the physical level is
the pituitary gland.
Benjamin Creme -- British artist and long-time student of
esoteric philosophy, has become the principal source of information about the emergence of
Maitreya, the World Teacher.

Benjamin Creme has studied various aspects of esoteric
philosophy, in particular the teachings released in the late 1800s through Helena
Blavatsky and the Theosophical Society, and more recently through Alice A. Bailey.
Although these teachings led him to believe in the existence of the Masters of Wisdom -- a
group of perfected individuals who are the custodians of the Divine Plan for this planet
-- it nevertheless came as a complete surprise to him when, in 1959, he was contacted by
one of the Masters. He was told, among other things, that Maitreya, the World Teacher --
the Master of all the Masters -- would return in about 20 years and that he (Creme) would
have a role to play in the event if he chose to accept it. More Information
Chakras -- Energy centers (vortices) in the etheric body related to the
spine and the seven most important endocrine glands. Responsible for the co-ordination and
vitalization of all the bodies (mental, astral and physical) and their correlation with
the soul, the main center of consciousness. There are seven major chakras and 42 lesser
ones.
Evolution -- The process of spiritualization of matter; the way back to the
Source. The casting aside of the veils of delusion and illusion leading eventually to
cosmic consciousness.

use of mankind to invoke the energies which will change our world. Translated into many

Maitreya -- The World Teacher for the age of Aquarius. The Christ and
head of the Spiritual Hierarchy of our planet. The Master of all the Masters. More information
Master -- An elder brother
of the Human Race who has reached an advanced point of evolution (perfect - relative to
average humanity). One who is able to demonstate without hinderance the glory of God
within. His consciousness has undergone such an expansion, that it now includes the fifth
or spiritual kingdom. He has worked his way through the four lower kingdoms: mineral, the
vegetable, the animal and the human - and has, through meditation and service, expanded
his centre of consciousness till it now includes the plane of the spirit.
Meditation -- Scientific means of contacting ones soul and of eventually
becoming at-one with the soul. Also the process of being open to spiritual impression and
thus to co-operation with the Spiritual Hierarchy.
Spiritual Hierarchy --The Masters of Wisdom, together forming
the Spiritual Hierarchy, are the custodians of the Divine Plan for this planet. They have
inspired all the great human achievements, working from behind the scenes through their
disciples in every field of endeavor. The Masters guide and teach, but it is humanity
itself, responding of its own free will to their stimulus, which creates each new
civilization. Today, the Masters are returning to the outer world as a group for the first
time in countless millennia.
Soul -- (Ego, Higher
Self, inner ruler, Christ within, Son of Mind, Solar Angel ) -- The linking
principle between Spirit and matter; between God and his form. Provides consciousness,
character and quality to all manifestation in form.
